The FL6N Stereo Connector has some issues.  I am able to get an intermittent connection to an external audio source; however, it is unclear if it is the cable or the headset.  This intermittent connection is obtained by partially inserting the cable plug into the headset jack - which would lead me to believe it's the headset jack and not the cable.  This external connection does not effect the basic ambient sound attenuation features of the headset.
The gel sealing rings make this headset very comfortable to wear.  The ambient noise passthrough was excellent at minimizing the loud sounds yet allowing me to hear and talk to people normally without having to remove my headset.
