    Pryme-BLU BT-583APX Bluetooth Audio Adapter (Dongle) fits Motorola
    Motorola APX6000 APX7000 APX4000
    Series Two Way Radios. The PRYMEBLU® Adapter allows you to use a compatible wireless Bluetooth headset with your two-way radio. The PRYMEBLU® Adapter is compatible with thousands of off the shelf consumer audio accessories and pairs easily, allowing you to operate wirelessly. Easy pairing process. Stores paired connection to the wireless headset even if the Radio is powered off or adapter is removed from the two-way radio. Several Push-To-Talk options: use the PTT button on the PRYMEBLU adapter to initiate transmissions, or use an optional PRYME BT-PTT wireless PTT switch. (Optional accessories not included).

    NOTICE: This model cannot use Pryme's patent pending Auto-switch feature so to operate the radio normally (say if your BT headset fails) you must remove the adapter from the radio. This adapter does not have a Quick Disconnect connector on top for a wired earpiece. This is Bluetooth only.

    The BT-583 with 6-pin Hirose accessory connector will not fit APX series radios because the APX antenna mount interferes with the adapter. The 6-pin Hirose was removed from this adapter. This is the only difference between the BT-583 and BT-583APX.
    NOTICE: This model cannot use Pryme's patent pending Auto-switch feature so to operate the radio normally (say if your BT headset fails) you must remove the adapter from the radio. This adapter does not have a Quick Disconnect connector on top for a wired earpiece. This is Bluetooth only.
    CAUTION: The BT-583APX will mute both the internal microphone and speaker of your portable radio if no wireless audio accessory is paired with the device. You should detach the BT-583APX from the radio when no audio accessory is in use. NOTE: There is NO QD Jack on the BT-583APX because of the protruding antenna mount on this model of radio.
    JUST UPGRADED - Can now be used with TWO PTT switches at same time!  For example you can use the PTT built into either the BTH-200 or BTH-SPM100 with either our BT-PTT or BT-PTT2 AT THE SAME TIME!  Normally you might use the wireless PTT built into the BTH-200 headset or BTH-SPM100 Speaker Mic but NOW with the UPGRADED Model you can also have either the BT-PTT or the NEW BT-PTT2 (wireless PTT switches) mounted on your handlebars or steering wheel.  OPERATE HANDSFREE FOR SAFETY!
